Cyclone Calibration Chamber

The calibration chamber is for monitoring the ﬂ ow through a

ﬁ lter/cyclone. It is designed to ﬁ t cyclones Cat. No. 225-01-01 and

225-01-02.

Assemble the ﬁ lter/cyclone assembly in the normal way and connect

to the sample pump.

Moisten the O-ring inside the large end of the chamber and push onto

the enlarged section of the cyclone extension. Connect the small end

to a ﬂ owmeter or other calibration instrument such as the Defender

717 Series. Use 1/4 in ID tubing to make the connection and maintain

as short as possible. (See illustration on reverse side.)

Turn on pump and read ﬂ ow from the calibrator.
